FTTx has been proven to be the shining star of the Next Generation Access (NGA) family and provides an excellent platform for high or ultra-high-speed access technologies.
The FTTx Structure is divided into two major components:
- Active Network that comprises Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and Optical Network Unit (ONU).
- Passive Network that includes all the Optical Distribution Network (ODN) components.
